Application requirements for the Texas Good Neighbor Scholarship Program are:
Award Amount: The award covers the cost of one year of tuition (fall, spring, and summer) and is non-renewable. Students may reapply. Please note: The Texas legislature has passed a bill that adds a grade point average requirement for persons to receive continuation awards through the program. The bill also adds a limit to the total number of hours that a student may take and continue to receive aid through this program. This change goes into effect in fall 2014. The student should contact his/her institution for additional information.
The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $34,791.
