Description: This scholarship program is open to U.S. and international students who are incoming freshmen or transfers at Pacific University. Students must plan to participate in theatre or applied theatre at Pacific University, and must audition to be considered for a scholarship.

Additional Information: Applicants will be notified of award by the Office of Financial Aid.

Award Amount: $5000-7000 per year, renewable depending on continued participation, for a total of up to $28,000 over four years.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $28,000.

Applications are available online on the Pacific University Department of Theatre website. Students must complete the application form and email it to the address provided. Students must select one of the available. audition dates. Detailed information on audition times and location is available on the Department of Theatre website. Please note: If the student cannot attend one of the scheduled audition dates, he/she should contact the Department of Theatre to make alternative arrangements. The audition will consist of a group warm-up, a quick collaborative task, and prepared monologues. The entire audition will last approximately 45 minutes. Students should prepare a monologue of no more than 90 seconds from any American play. Applicants should be prepared to move; flexible clothing and athletic shoes are encouraged. Applications should be received at least one week prior to the student's chosen audition date.
