Number of Awards & Eligibility: One two-year scholarship of $15,000 is awarded to a student to studying visual arts.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be a graduating high school senior.
  2. Must attend a high school in Washington state.
  3. Must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
  4. Must enroll as a full-time student.
  5. Must provide evidence of financial need.
  6. Must major in visual art.

Description: The Wendy Jackson Hall Scholarship Program will provide two-year scholarship to a student to study visual art. Applicants must be graduating high school seniors from a Washington public high school, have a 3.0 GPA or higher, and be accepted or admitted into the art program of an accredited U.S institution full time.

Additional Information: The Wendy Jackson Hall Scholarship Fund honors the late Wendy Jackson by giving a award to candidates that show a love of the arts and a desire to encourage artistic endeavors within the general community. In her 10-year career she was a writer for animation journals, an independent filmmaker, a leader in the International Animated Film Association (ASIFA), and a teacher of animation. After moving with her husband to Bainbridge Island, Wendy started her own company, Animated Adventures. She also focused on teaching animation to children, working in the schools, and running her own classes in the community. One awardee will be selected. Applicants are notified by email.

Award Amount: The Wendy Jackson Hall Scholarship Fund will receive up to $15,000 to study visual arts per two years. Scholarship is not renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $30,000.
