Description: The Robert P. Currie Scholarship is available for high school seniors in Worcester County, Massachusetts. Applicants must be planning to major in business, and additional consideration will be given to students with a strong record of community service.

Application requirements for the Robert P. Currie Scholarship are:

  • Transcript
  • Recommendation letter
Additional Information: The Robert P. Currie Scholarship is provided annually through the Greater Worcester Community Foundation (GWCF). Scholarships are available for local area high school students who are planning to major in and pursue a career in business. The GWCF has provided opportunity and financial assistance for more than 40 years in the central Massachusetts area, and continues this mission today with a variety of programs including scholarships for local area students. All applications completed prior to the deadline date will be given full consideration based on academic history, unmet financial need, and the strength of received recommendation letters. Additional preference will be given to students who demonstrate a history of community service and involvement.

Award Amount: $400 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $400.
