  4. Must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

Description: The Ann Maly Davis Scholarship Fund is available for graduating seniors at Wahoo High School in Wahoo Nebraska. Applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher, unmet financial need, and exrta-curricular activities that indicate a record of leadership.

Additional Information: The Ann Maly Davis Scholarship Fund is provided annually to a graduating student from Wahoo High School in Wahoo Nebraska who shows the following combination of traits: academic achievement; financial need; and leadership as demonstrated through community service and organizational involvement. All of these factors will be considered during the scholarship selection process. Additional preference will be given to students who are planning to major in business. The administration and management of this scholarship is provided through the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation. Originally founded in 1978, the GKCCF was designed to provide a single point of support and professional charity organization for various charitable organizations throughout the local area. Over the years, the scope of this mission has expanded to include grants, scholarships, and other philanthropic initiatives within Kansas City, throughout the Midwest, and even nation-wide. In addition to the completed online application form, applicants for this scholarship must submit the following: proof of financial need; transcripts or other records of academic performance that include a current or recent grade point average; and additional information about any leadership roles, community service, or volunteer efforts that may be pertinent to the award. Completed applications with all supporting documents must be received no later than the deadline date. Late and incomplete submissions will not be considered.
