Public Relations Student Society of America
Scholarships are awarded as follows: first place, $5,000; second place, $1,500; and third place, $1,000. All awards are given annually and are non-renewable.
Three awards offered annually; one for first place, second place and third place. Note: The association may choose to award a fourth scholarship or ties may be declared provided there are candidates of special merit and sufficient funds.
Students will be judged on the following criteria: academic achievement in public relations and overall studies; demonstrated leadership; practical experience, e.g. internships, other jobs, student firm work; and a commitment to public relations, particularly as expressed in the candidate's statement. Winners will be announced and the scholarships will be presented at the annual awards ceremony during the PRSSA National Conference.
