Catching The Dream
Awards are based on CTD's projected income. Previous awards have been $500 to $5,000 per year of undergraduate study or graduate study. CTD does not place a limit on the number of terms/semesters for funding. Continuing students (those who are currently funded by CTD) do not have to reapply. Instead, they will automatically receive a scholarship renewal form that must be completed by June 1 for each year they are in school.
The number of awards varies annually, but in previous years has been 50.
CTD's objective is to recognize and reward outstanding student achievement. This supplemental award is intended to help American Indian students of any age, from any U.S. tribe, within any state, striving to get an education. All awards are based on merit, academic achievement and ambition. Because this is a supplemental aid program, applicants are required to apply for all other sources of funding for which they are eligible; this includes applying for campus-based aid. CTD strongly recommends that applicants search thoroughly for other sources of funding. Please note: If a student applies for the CTD Scholarship and is not selected, he/she cannot apply again.
Applications are available online on the Catching the Dream (CTD) website or by contacting CTD using the information listed. Deadlines are as follows: March 15 for the summer semester; April 30 for th ... sign up for full scholarship deadline information.
