The CBM Wildcat Education Scholarship Fund is available for graduating high school seniors and previous graduates of the Shawnee Mission School District. Applicants must be enrolled in or planning to enroll at Kansas State University and must be majoring in or planning to major in education. Award selection will be based on a combination of factors, including but not limited to the following: academic merit; financial need; and other application submissions. The administration and management of this scholarship is provided through the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation. Originally founded in 1978, the GKCCF was designed to provide a single point of support and professional charity organization for various charitable organizations throughout the local area. Over the years, the scope of this mission has expanded to include grants, scholarships, and other philanthropic initiatives within Kansas City, throughout the Midwest, and even nation-wide.
