Award Amount

$2,000 annually, non-renewable. All scholarships are provided as cash awards with checks issued jointly in the name of the recipient and the college or institution he/she will be attending in the fall.


One award offered annually.

Additional Information

Harold Bettinger was a partner in Bettinger Farms of Swanton, Ohio. In the mid-50s, he was one of the first progressive growers to convert his bedding plant production from wooden to plastic flats. Bettinger Farms now grows greenhouse and field vegetables. Each student who has won a scholarship will be sent a notification letter by U.S. mail. Scholarship decisions will be made by August of each year.
