The Robert Toigo Foundation was founded 16 years ago to encourage exceptional minority students to consider finance, not only as a rewarding career, but also as an opportunity to be the future leaders in the global economy. The Robert Toigo Foundation's goal is ambitious: to create a self-sustaining structure that leverages finance as a vehicle to promote positive social change. Fellows are required to secure both summer internships between his/her first and second year and full-time employment in the financial services industry after graduation. The Robert Toigo Foundation requires all Fellows to sign a contract affirming his/her commitment to an internship in financial services and a full-time finance-related job for two years following graduation. Finalists for the Robert Toigo fellowship are required to appear for an interview by invitation in either New York or San Francisco.
