Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
  3. Must attend a college or university in Florida.
  4. Must study in one of the following engineering fields: civil, structural, or consulting.
  5. Must have completed at least one year of undergraduate study.
  6. Must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident.
  7. Must plan to enroll full time.
  8. Must be a resident of Florida.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This award is available for U.S. students or international students who are permanent residents of Florida who are majoring in civil, structural, or consulting engineering. Applicants must have completed at least one year of undergraduate study, must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher, and must be enrolled full time at a college or university in Florida.

Application requirements for the David F. Ludovici Scholarship are:

  • Interview
  • Recommendation letter
  • Application form
  • Official Transcript
Additional Information: Evaluation will be made on the basis of academic performance, work experience, activities, honors, and letters of recommendation, along with evidence of leadership, motivation, character, and self-reliance. Special emphasis will be given to performance in the math and basic science classes identified on the course list on the application.

Award Amount: $1,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.
