  1. Must have an updated NACME Common Application on file.
  2. Must have a minimum cumulative undergraduate GPA of 2.8.
  3. Must be matriculating full time, in good standing, at an on campus engineering or computer science program at a NACME Partner Institution.

Description: NACME Collegiate Scholars are performing undergraduate students who are matriculating in strategic engineering or computer science programs. Students must have an updated NACME Common Application on file, a GPA of 2.8 or higher, enrolled full time at an engineering or computer science program at a NACME Partner Institution.

Additional Information: NACME is responsible for more than $4 million in scholarships awarded annually to underrepresented minority (URM) students, with more than $1.6 million awarded in NACME’s funded scholarships and $2.4 million more through our partner institutions’ in-kind support. NACME expects to support approximately 1,000 underrepresented minority engineering and computer students annually. NACME provides block grants to partner institutions that, in turn, award scholarships to talented Black/African American, Native/American Indian, and Latinx/Hispanic American students enrolled in engineering or computer science programs as part of their financial aid packages. NACME Collegiate Scholars are performing undergraduate students who are matriculating in strategic engineering or computer science programs. To be eligible for a NACME Collegiate Scholarship, students must have an updated NACME Common Application on file, a minimum cumulative undergraduate GPA of 2.8, and must be matriculating full time, in good standing, at an on campus engineering or computer science program at a NACME Partner Institution. Awards vary by partnership institution but are typically between $1,500 - $4,000 annually.
