Number of Awards & Eligibility: Last year, 10 scholarships were provided.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be female.
  2. Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree-granting program.
  3. Must be majoring in computer science or computer engineering (or a closely related and highly technical field).
  4. This award is for U.S. students.

Description: The Adobe Research Women in Technology Scholarship is available for women who are pursuing a Bacherlor's or Master's degree in computer science or computer engineering. Applicants must be currently enrolled at the time of application and must demonstrate superior academic achievement as evidenced with an exceptional GPA.

Additional Information: The Adobe Research Women in Technology Scholarship is provided annually to recognize and provide financial assistance to undergraduate and graduate women who are majoring in computer sciences, computer engineering, or a similar and highly technical field related to computers. Successful applicants must demonstrate a consistent record of high academic achievement as well as a strong potential for career success as evidenced by her submitted essay responses, personal statement, and letters of recommendation. Previous scholarship recipients, Adobe employees, and relatives of Adobe employees are not eligible to apply for this scholarship. Finalists may be required to conduct an interview by phone prior to final award selection. All recipients will be notified by by November 20.

Award Amount: Award recipients will be provided with $10,000, a one-year subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud, access to a mentor at Adobe, and an opportunity to interview for an internship with Adobe.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $100,000.

Applications and additional information about the Adobe Research Women in Technology Scholarship is available online through the provided link. To be considered for this award, students must submit a completed application form and the following supplemental documentation: official transcripts for all undergraduate and/or graduate coursework completed; up to four essay responses; three recommendation letters; an up-to-date resume; and an optional 60-second video or media presentation that describes the applicant's ideal career. All applications must be submitted online by the deadline date. Individuals who are listed as recommenders will be contacted by Adobe and asked to provide letters supporting the applicant.
