Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
  2. Must be enrolled in a college in the upcoming school year.
  3. Must be a part-time OR a full-time student.
  4. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  5. This award is for U.S. students.
  6. Must be studying criminal justice.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This scholarship is named in memory of Melissa M. Linville, a former beloved Crimcheck team member and friend, in order to honor and extend her legacy of charity, good works, and selflessness. During her life, Melissa touched countless lives through her service and compassion to others, her sincerity of heart, and the joy she brought to everyone surrounding her.

Application requirements for the Criminal Justice Scholarship Award are:

  • Essay
  • Application form
  • Official Transcript
Additional Information: The essay will be judged on the following criteria: ambitiousness and desire to be in the criminal justice field, demonstration of knowledge and commitment to a career in the criminal justice field, and demonstration of leadership and a willingness to learn.

Award Amount: $500 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $500.
