$3,000 to $5,500 annually, non-renewable to the Gold recipient and $3,000 annually, non-renewable to the Silver recipient.

This scholarship is targeted toward students who demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit through a written essay. Chosen recipients must be highly ambitious, dedicated, innovative, and creative. The recipients must not only have a vision but the skills and plans to realize their vision. Applications are judged by a panel of educators, industry leaders, and culinary professionals. Scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis. The judges will score the application on the following criteria: presentation (spelling, punctuation, grammar, etc.); essay (quality of writing, word count, etc); industry-related work experience; and the strength of the letter(s) of recommendation.
