  2. Must major in culinary arts.
  3. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  4. Must be a current undergraduate student at the time of application.

Description: The Andrew Macrina Scholarship is for U.S. college sophomores who are pursuing a degree in culinary arts. The applicant must be enrolled full time in a two-year culinary program.

Additional Information: Sponsored and administered by The American Academy of Chefs (ACC), the Andrew Macrina Scholarship provides culinary students with assistance toward covering the cost of culinary programs. Scholarships are available to exemplary students currently enrolled in a two-year culinary program that is acceptable to the AAC. The American Academy of Chefs Scholarship Committee will make the selections and announce the recipients within approximately one month of the deadline date.

Award Amount: $1,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.

Applications for the Andrew Macrina Scholarship are available online on the American Culinary Federation website. In addition to a completed application, the applicant must also submit two letters of recommendation from industry and/or culinary professionals, a completed 'Financial Aid Release Form', responses to the two questions listed on the application, and a sealed official transcript showing his/her current grade point average. All application materials must be postmarked by the deadline.
