Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for international and U.S. students.
  2. Must be a female.
  3. Must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
  4. Must major in engineering (any field) or engineering technology.
  5. Must be a full-time student.
  6. Must be a college junior or senior at time of application.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This award is available for U.S. and international female college juniors and seniors who are majoring in engineering or engineering technology. Applicants must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher and enroll full time.

Application requirements for the Dr. Ivy M. Parker Memorial Scholarship are:

  • Recommendation letter
  • Application form
  • Official Transcript
  • College acceptance letter
  • Resume
Additional Information: Financial need will be considered when selecting a recipient for this award. Applicants may not be current recipients of a renewable SWE scholarship or receiving full funding for education from another organization (such as members of the armed services attending U.S. military academies and students receiving full reimbursement from an employer.) Applicants must be enrolled in a program accredited by ABET. Accreditation information for specific programs is available online at main.abet.org/aps/Accreditedprogramsearch.aspx.

Award Amount: $1,500 annually, renewable for one additional year if the recipient is currently a college junior and continues to meet criteria. Recipients who are seniors cannot renew. The availability of the scholarship is dependent upon renewals.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,500.
