Number of Awards & Eligibility: Four awards are provided each year.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher
  2. Must be majoring in computer science or one of the following engineering specialties: aerospace, electrical, industrial, mechanical, or manufacturing.
  3. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  4. Must be a college sophomore, junior, or senior.
  5. Must be a Hispanic or Latino college student.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: The Eaton Multicultural Scholarship Program is available for Hispanic undergraduate students who have completed at least one year of an engineering major with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Additional Information: The Eaton Multicultural Scholarship Program is provided annually through the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE). SHPE was founded in 1974 and awards scholarships to deserving students for the purpose of increasing educational opportunities for Hispanic engineers. The recipients of this award will be selected primarily based on academic achievements, and the winners will be notified in late August.

Award Amount: Scholarships are awarded in the amount of $2,500 per year and may be renewed for up to three years of study.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $5,000.
