The AGA recommends that students visit www.galvanizeit.org for helpful information relating to hot-dip galvanizing before writing their essays. The website provides a wealth of no-cost resources, including access to current publications, printed articles, technical information resource CDs, and a variety of industry links. Judges will evaluate submissions based on relevance, accuracy, conciseness, and ingenuity. Each essay will be read and ranked by reviewers at the AGA. Final awards will be determined by both the AGA's executive director and president. Winners will be personally notified and announced on the AGA website in April/May. All submissions become the property of the AGA and will not be returned. Winning essays become the property of the AGA, which will, however, cooperate fully with the authors in the republication of essays.
