Number of Awards & Eligibility: Two awards of $7,500, or three awards of $5,000 offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be enrolled full-time.
  2. Must be a graduate student.
  3. Must attend college in the U.S. or Canada.
  4. Must be conducting research in the area of insulation or dielectrics.
  5. This award is for international and U.S. students.

Additional Information: This award is funded by the Dielectrics and Electrical Insulation Society. Judging is based on the formally submitted research proposal. The criteria for selection are technical soundness, innovative content, relevance, and the impact of the topic chosen.

Award Amount: $7,500 or $5,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $5,000.
