Description: High School Seniors and Juniors are eligible to apply. Winners will be announced and prize money will be awarded on August 6th, 2020. Stories will be featured on company website and blog.

Additional Information: LearnCurious is dedicated to helping individuals examine their learning styles and preferences. Learn Curious also provides tips on effective writing skills, test preparation and anxiety management strategies. LearnCurious is proud to introduce the first annual competition for the Phyliss J. McCarthy Scholarship for Excellence in Writing. Applicants will be asked to write a 3,000 word or fewer essay on one the following prompts at the provider's site. Applicants should be High School seniors and juniors only.

Award Amount: One scholarship of $1,000 will be awarded.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.
