Number of Awards & Eligibility: One scholarship is awarded.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must show Academic Achievement with a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
  2. Must be enrolled in an accredited pharmacy program.
  3. Must be a graduate student at the time of application.

Description: The NCPA Foundation Presidential Scholarship is available for all pharmacy students who are NCPA members are eligible to apply for one NCPA Foundation Scholarship per year. It aims to advance research, education and outreach to pharmacy students. A few scholarships are offered to further this goal.

Application requirements for the NCPA Foundation Presidential Scholarship are:

  • Recommendation letter
  • Application form
  • Official Transcript
Additional Information: All pharmacy students who are NCPA members are eligible to apply for one NCPA Foundation Scholarship per year. The NCPA Foundation Presidential Scholarship will be made on the basis of these priorities: Leadership Qualities: Potential candidates need to show leadership qualities and accomplishments with a proven interest in independent pharmacy, as well as involvement in extracurricular activities. These qualities will be measured by the required supporting documents Academic Achievement: Scholastic success is a necessary condition for consideration. And will be measured using current college transcripts

Award Amount: The scholarship is awarded on an individual basis and is non-transferable. Each recipient will receive a check made payable to his or her school from the NCPA Foundation for $2,000 during the NCPA Annual Convention. NOTE: The award recipient must be present at the NCPA Annual Convention to receive this award. Up to a $300 travel stipend will be provided along with a complimentary registration to the NCPA conference.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $2,000.

To apply for the NCPA Foundation Presidential Scholarship, students must download and complete the application form at the provider website and submitted by mail. All applications must be submitted by the deadline date.
