L. Phil and Alice J. Wicker Scholarship

The L. Phil and Alice J. Wicker Scholarship is for a licensed radio amateur with a general class or higher license who is a resident of and attends college in the ARRL Roanoke Division (North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia). The student must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in electronics, communications, or related fields.

Farmers Mutual Hail Insurance Company of Iowa Scholarship

This award is available for members of the Future Farmers of America (FFA) who are residents of one of the following states: Arkansas, California, Colorado, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia or Wisconsin. The applicant must plan to major in an eligible agricultural field and have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher.

Seneca Foods Corporation Scholarship

This award is for U.S. high school seniors and undergraduate students enrolled in an eligible agricultural major. The applicant must have a grade point average of 2.0 or higher, and be involved in fruit or vegetable production or processing.

Hoard’s Dairyman Scholarship

This award is for U.S. high school seniors and undergraduate students who are pursuing a four-year degree in dairy science or agricultural journalism. Applicants must be FFA members.

This award is available for current high school seniors who are members of the Future Farmers of America. Students must enroll in an eligible agricultural major and be a resident of an eligible state.

This award is available for Ohio high school seniors and undergraduate students who are members of FFA and plan to major in select fields at The Ohio State University. Students must exhibit strong leadership skills, have participated in community service, and have work experience in the field of agriculture.

National Mastitis Council Scholarship

This award is available for U.S. high school seniors and undergraduate students who have background in dairy and plan to pursue a career related to dairy. Applicants must be pursuing a two- or four-year degree in dairy or animal science, agricultural communications, education, sales and marketing, or pre-vet/vet sciences. Please note: Non-FFA members are eligible for this award.

Kenneth and Ellen Nielsen Cooperative Scholarship

U.S. high school seniors and undergraduate students who plan to enroll or are enrolled in a four-year agriculture degree program are eligible for this award. The applicant or applicant’s parents/guardians must be members of an agricultural cooperative that is also a member of the Iowa Institute for Cooperatives.
