This scholarship is available for North Carolina high school seniors who are 4-H members and majoring in some phase of communications. Students must plan to attend an institution of higher education in North Carolina in the fall of the year that they apply for the scholarship.

NATAS Chicago/Midwest Chapter Scholarship for College Students

This award is for U.S. college seniors or graduate students who are enrolled in a full-time course of study in a field related to the television industry. The applicant must attend a school within the ADI (area of dominant influence) of the television stations within the Chicago/Midwest chapter jurisdiction OR be a relative of a member in good standing of the Chicago/Midwest Chapter of the Television Academy.

Porter Fleming Literary Competition

This is a writing contest for residents of Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, South Carolina, and North Carolina. To enter, students may submit their work in one of four categories: fiction, poetry, nonfiction or drama. U.S. students who are the spouse, child, stepchild or grandchild of an employee of an InfoComm member organization or an employee of an InfoComm member organization are eligible for this award. Students must be current second, third or fourth year students with a grade point average of 2.75 or higher in an audiovisual related program of study.
