Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
  2. Must be a high school senior on track to graduate or a college student enrolled in an accredited four-year university/college, or currently enrolled in a two-year college and planning to transfer to a four-year university/college upon completion.
  3. This award is for U.S. students.
  4. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
  5. Must have earned, or will earn your high school diploma this calendar year.

Additional Information: Additional documents may be required of finalists in order to prove eligibility. These may include photo ID, proof of enrollment, and academic transcripts. Students who are not selected as finalists will not be contacted. The winner will be selected and announced by May 28.

Award Amount: $1000 non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.

Applications and additional information about the 2020 Law Offices of Sheryl R. Rentz Scholarship is available online at the provider website. To be considered for this scholarship, applicants must submit the online form found here: https://www.srrentzlaw.com/scholarship/application.php Students must also submit a 500- 1,000 word essay answering the following: "How YOU find balance between your school life, work life, and extracurricular activities. How will this balance help you find the "key" to a bright future?" The following must aslo be submitted: School Transcripts - An official or unofficial transcript from your current educational institution. If your application puts you in contention as a finalist and potential winner of the scholarship, you will be contacted by the firm and given instructions on how to send an electronic version of your official transcript. Do not send any transcripts until explicitly requested by the firm. Current Proof of Enrollment - You will be required to submit upon request an enrollment verification letter, letter of acceptance from a college, or course registration for the upcoming semester. Photo ID - A copy of your U.S. driver's license, U.S. state ID card, DACA ID, and/or passport will be required. These are the only acceptable forms of identification to submit to us upon request. All applications and written submissions must be received online no later than the deadline date.
