Description: All admitted students are considered for the Mordecai scholarship during the scholarship review process. Students who are named Mordecai Scholars will receive merit scholarships that cover the full cost of tuition. In most years, 4-8 students enroll with the Mordecai Scholarship. Additional Information: Duke Law encourages students to grow a broad range of skills that may enhance their careers as lawyers. And, urges them to engage intellectually, build relationships, and lead effectively. Incoming students who exemplify these ideals to the highest degree are named Mordecai Scholars and receive Duke Law's prestigious full tuition scholarship. The Mordecai Scholars Program began in 1997 to honor Samuel Fox Moredai, the founding Dean of Law. He was also a noted practitioner, scholar and leader in legal education. All admitted students are considered for the Mordecai scholarship during the scholarship review process. Students who are named Mordecai Scholars will receive merit scholarships that cover the full cost of tuition. In most years, 4-8 students enroll with the Mordecai Scholarship. Applicants must meet merit criteria defined by Duke Law.

Award Amount: Amounts offered varies.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $10,000.
