Number of Awards & Eligibility: The number of scholarships varies from year to year. Generally, there are between eight and ten awards offered.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be attending an accredited law school at least half time.
  2. Must be attending law school.
  3. This award is for U.S. students.
  4. Student must demonstrate academic achievement.
  5. Must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident.

Additional Information: Scholarships are awarded each fall to law students who demonstrate a commitment to serve or contribute to the Asian Pacific American community as future leaders.

Award Amount: $2,000 annually; non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $2,000.

Applications are available online from the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA) website. In addition to a completed application, the applicant must also submit official transcripts, two letters of recommendation, and an essay on the questions listed on the application form. All materials must be submitted online no later than the deadline date.
