Description: The Sharp Law Short Essay Scholarship Contest is available for students who are currently enrolled in an accredited community college, undergraduate, or graduate program in the United States.

Additional Information: The Law Office of Matthew D. Sharp is proud to offer a privately funded scholarship essay contest to help one deserving student who submits the most creative, thoughtful and well-written essay in this scholarship contest.

Award Amount: Scholarships are provided in the amount of $1,000. All awards are provided on a one-time basis and are non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.

Application must be submitted electronically in PDF format along with a 300-500 word essay addressing our question: "What do you think the legal consequences should be for falsely accusing someone of a crime, such as a hate crime or sexual assault?" All submissions must be sent by email no later than the deadline date.
