Number of Awards & Eligibility: Three awards offered.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be a legal U.S resident or citizen.
  2. Must be a current law school student.
  3. Must be members of a racial or ethnic group currently underrepresented in the patent law profession and be seeking admission to an ABA-accredited law school for the Fall 2021 semester.

Description: The Sidney B. Williams, Jr. Scholar Program is for persons seeking admission to, and enrolled in, law school who have an interest in exploring a possible career in patent law. Scholars may also be eligible to receive a limited number of 3 year, $10,000 per year law school awards that the Foundation may elect to offer.

Application requirements for the Sidney B. Williams, Jr. Scholarship are:

Additional Information: To be eligible for the scholarship contest, you must be a legal US resident, and a current law student at an ABA accredited U.S. law school. Applicants must be members of a racial or ethnic group.

Award Amount: Three scholarships of $2,000 each that renew for three years if recipient remains in good academic standing.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $6,000.
