  2. This award is for U.S. students.
  3. Must be currently enrolled in college or university.

Description: The Stevens & McMillan Law Scholarship is available for U.S. students who submit an original essay of at least 1,000 words in length. Applicants must be currently enrolled in or planning to enroll in an accredited institution of higher education no later than Fall.

Application requirements for the Stevens & McMillan Law Scholarship are:

Additional Information: Essay submissions will be evaluated on a combination of creativity and overall quality. All scholarship funds will be sent directly to the college or university the winner is currently enrolled at. Applicants can choose any law or connected group of laws regarding at least one of the following topics: Wrongful termination Harassment Discrimination Retaliation Leave of absence violations Winning essays, runner-ups, and honorable mentions may be republished online with full credit and attribution to the author.

Award Amount: $1,500 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,500.

Application information about this award are available online at the website of Stevens & McMillan Law. Applicants must submit a minimum 1,000 word essay concerning the topics below using Microsoft Word. At the end of the essay, please indicate in a separate paragraph your name, phone number, school, expected school in Fall of 2020 if different, and a statement that you agree to the contest rules. All essays must be submitted by email to the provided address and must be received no later than the deadline date.
