The Divorce Stigma Scholarship

Number of Awards & Eligibility: One scholarship is awarded.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be currently enrolled or about to attend an accredited community college, undergraduate, or graduate program within the United States.
  2. Must have a minimum current GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  3. Must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. permanent resident.

Description: The 2020 Divorce Stigma Scholarship is available for Applicants currently enrolled or about to attend an accredited community college, undergraduate, or graduate program within the United States.

Application requirements for the The Divorce Stigma Scholarship are:

  • Essay
  • Application form
  • Official Transcript
  • A Resume.
Additional Information: The applicant must write a 750-word essay explaining how a divorce experience produced a positive outcome for those involved.

Award Amount: The Divorce Stigma Scholarship will award one student with $1,000 to be used toward their educational goals.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.
