In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be a graduating high school senior, undergraduate, or graduate student.
  2. Must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

Description: The Good Law Scholarship is available for graduating high school seniors, undergraduate students, and graduate students who have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.

  • Application form.
Additional Information: Good Law considers ethics to be one of the most important aspects of the legal profession. This contest invites students to share examples of what they feel are ethical failings in the current system of law. Judges will consider all submissions with emphasis on essays that demonstrate a unique and comprehensive view of legal ethics in practice.

Award Amount: The grant value is up to $1,000.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.

A complete application for this scholarship will include: a resume that includes up to date contact information; a current academic transcript (We should clearly be able to see Cumulative GPA); a 1,000 word or less essay explaining the ethical problems of our current legal structure and ways to improve it. All applications must be received no later than the deadline date.
