Number of Awards & Eligibility: One scholarship is awarded.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must have some victim advocacy experience serving DV survivors.
  2. Must be enrolled as an undergraduate, graduate, or law school student.
  3. Must have a genuine intention to focus your career after graduation to serving survivors of domestic violence.

Description: The Turco Muñoz Domestic Violence Survivor Scholarship is available for domestic violence survivors who are currently enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate, or law school program. Students with a history of advocacy for domestic abuse survivors, as well as students who are pursuing a related career, are also eligible to apply.

Application requirements for the Turco Muñoz Domestic Violence Survivor Scholarship are:

  • Recommendation letter
  • Application form
  • Resume.
Additional Information: The Turco Muñoz Domestic Violence Survivor Scholarship helps the cause by supporting the education of those who intend to professionally help with the domestic violence crisis. We help by annually paying a $1,000 tuition payment to the school of the scholarship winner.

Award Amount: Scholarships are awarded in the amount of $1,000 and are non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.
