Maryland Workforce Shortage Student Assistance Grant

This award is available for Maryland students who are planning to attend a Maryland postsecondary institution. The student must be enrolled in a program of study currently experiencing a statewide and regional workforce need and plan on working in that specific career/occupational program upon graduation.

Marjorie A. Johnston Memorial Scholarship for Adult Students

This scholarship is available for adult re-entry students who are at least 25 years of age and residents of Butler County, OH. Applicants must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher and plan to major in nursing or a related healthcare field.

Harold E. Ennes/Robert D. Greenberg Scholarship

This award is for U.S. undergraduate and graduate students who plan to pursue a career in the technical aspects of broadcasting. Preference will be given to applicants who are members of the Society of Broadcast Engineers (SBE) and/or are employed at least part-time in broadcast engineering.

Edward J. Kiernan Memorial Scholarship

This award is available for current high school seniors who have a parent or guardian that is a member of a union affiliated with the International Union of Police Associations, AFL-CIO. Applicants must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher and be accepted in a course of study in law enforcement, labor relations or a related field at an accredited university or college.

This writing contest is open to all undergraduate and graduate students who submit an essay of 3,500 to 12,500 words addressing one or more of the topics listed at the website. The work must be have been produced to fulfill an undergraduate or graduate course or degree requirement, and may be submitted in English or in Spanish.

This scholarship is open to U.S. students who have been admitted to the University of Wisconsin-Platteville's distance education program to pursue a master's degree in engineering, project management, or integrated supply chain management. Students must have majored in a STEM field as undergraduates, have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher, and demonstrate financial need.

Adolph Stutz Memorial Scholarship Award

The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers is offering a scholarship to members (who are enrolled for at least 6 credit hours), and the children, spouses, and dependent grandchildren of members (as of June 1, 2017) of District Lodge 141 with one year or more of good standing who are graduating seniors, or who are currently enrolled full time and/or commencing college full time.
