The Alaska Airlines Women in Aviation Scholarship is provided annually for female students who are pursuing a career as a professional pilot. To be eligible, an applicant must be in her junior or senior year of undergraduate studies, and must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Candidates will be evaluated on volunteer work in the community, academic standing, teamwork, leadership skills, and airmanship. All scholarships, unless otherwise noted, will be awarded at the Annual International Women in Aviation Conference. Attendance at the conference is not required to receive a scholarship, but it is encouraged. Please note: Students may only receive one scholarship per year.
