The following scholarships are worth $2,000 each: sophomore; junior/senior; Dietrich; Accelerator; Kimel; Liner; Bisesti; DD&RD; DiSalvo; Lacy; Pittsburgh and Lamarsh. These awards are offered annually and are non-renewable. The Operations and Power scholarship is worth $2,500 annually, non-renewable. The Thomas and Vogt scholarships are worth $3,000 annually, non-renewable. The Accelerator Applications Division Scholarship is worth $1,000 annually, renewable for one additional year.
Up to 39 awards offered annually. One award is available for each named scholarship. In addition, several general awards are available as follows: up to four awards for sophomores; and up to 21 awards for juniors and seniors.
The named scholarships included under this program are the following: the Angelo S. Bisesti Scholarship, the Joseph R. Dietrich Scholarship; the Raymond DiSalvo Scholarship; the Charles (Tommy) Thomas Memorial Scholarship (formerly the Environmental Sciences Division Scholarship); the Robert G. Lacy Scholarship; the John R. Lamarsh Scholarship; the Robert T. (Bob) Liner Scholarship; the Decommissioning, Decontamination and Reutilization Scholarship; the William R. and Mila Kimel Scholarship; the Accelerator Applications Division Scholarship; the Pittsburgh Local Section Scholarship; ANS Washington, DC Section Undergraduate Scholarship; Operations and Power Division Scholarship; and the James R. Vogt Radiochemistry Scholarship (available to an undergraduate or graduate student).
