Number of Awards & Eligibility: The number of awards offered varies annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  3. Must have a grade point average of 2.8 or higher.
  4. Must be an undergraduate student.
  5. Must be a member of the Navajo Nation tribe.
  6. Must be a member of any Shiprock Agency Chapter of the Navajo Nation.
  7. Must be enrolled full time in an accredited public or private (non-profit) college or university or an accredited tribal college or university.
  8. Must attend Diné College in Arizona, Navajo Technical University in New Mexico, or Southwestern Indian Polytechnic Institute in New Mexico.
  9. Must major in science, engineering, technology, or math (or a related field).

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: U.S. undergraduate students majoring in a STEM course of study at Diné College, Navajo Technical College, or Southwest Indian Polytechnic Institute who have a grade point average of 2.8 or higher are eligible for this award. Students must be members of the Navajo Nation tribe and have membership in a Shiprock Agency Chapter.

Additional Information: Student must have an interest in interning or working for Arizona Public Service. The American Indian College Fund determines student eligibility and awards the scholarships. Award and denial notices will be mailed out to all applicants by August each year to the address listed on the application.

Award Amount: Up to $6,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $6,000.

Applications are available on the American Indian College Fund (AICF) website and are accepted beginning Jan. 1. Students should complete the Full Circle Scholarship Program application to be considered for this award. Only one application is necessary to apply for all AICF scholarships for which the student is eligible. In addition to the appropriate completed online application(s), the student must submit the following materials: a digital photo (at least 1.5 MB in size); proof of tribal affiliation (detailed instructions available on AICF website); his/her most recent college transcript, or high school transcript/GED score report if just starting college (unofficial accepted); and a 'Financial Needs Analysis' form (available on the AICF website). Applications must be submitted by the deadline date.
