Number of Awards & Eligibility: Two awards offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a graduating high school senior at time of application.
  3. Must be a resident of Clay County, Florida.
  4. Must enroll full time.
  5. Must be seeking a degree in visual arts, design, or arts education.
  6. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  7. Must attend a high school in Clay County, Florida.

Description: This scholarship is available to high school seniors in Clay County, Florida. The applicant must be seeking a degree in visual arts, design, or arts education.

Application requirements for the Art Guild of Orange Park Visual Arts/Arts Education Scholarship are:

  • Application form
  • Recommendation letter
  • Acceptance letter
  • List of awards received
  • Interview
Additional Information: The applicant will be expected to appear for an interview with the Art Guild Scholarship Committee. At the interview, the applicant should be prepared to speak about his/her place in the arts and future ambitions, as well as present a portfolio of at least 10 works in his/her field of expertise.

Award Amount: $500 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $500.

Applications are available online on the Art Guild of Orange Park, Inc.'s website under the Art Outreach heading of the top navigation bar. In addition to the completed application, the student must submit a letter of recommendation from a current art instructor or teacher, a copy of his/her college/university acceptance letter, and a list of any awards received for his/her artwork. The application and all supporting materials must be submitted to the address provided, received by the deadline date.
