The memory of Arthur Cervenka, a former SME president (1967-68), continues to live on through an endowment with the SME Education Foundation. The late Cervenka and his widow, Gladys, have been supporting the foundation with regular gifts since 1978. The scholarship review committee and other ad hoc review committees will evaluate applications during March of the award year. Their recommendations for the top candidates will be presented to the SME Education Foundation Board at their annual meeting in May. Each applicant will be notified of the final decision by the end of June.
