Arkansas Single Parent Scholarship Fund
Up to $500 per semester, non-renewable. Students must complete a new application for each semester that a scholarship is sought. The scholarship may be used for tuition, books, utility bills, car maintenance, or any other financial need that contributes to the recipient's success in school.

The scholarship was created to provide supplemental financial assistance to single parents who are pursuing a course of instruction that will improve their income-earning potential. Please note: The applicant must be the recipient of or have applied for a Pell Grant. Applying for a Pell Grant is done by filing a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). The FAFSA is available at www.fafsa.ed.gov, at high school guidance offices, and at college financial aid offices.
