Number of Awards & Eligibility: Two awards offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.
  3. Must be enrolled in an accredited dental hygiene program in the United States.
  4. Must be a student or professional member of the American Dental Hygienists' Association (ADHA).
  5. Must be a full-time student.
  6. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
  7. Must have completed a minimum of one year in a baccalaureate dental hygiene curriculum prior to receiving this scholarship. Students entering their first year of dental hygiene school are not eligible; students may be in the process of completing their first year when application is submitted.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Additional Information: This scholarship is sponsored by Procter & Gamble and is awarded to students who demonstrate an intent to encourage professional excellence and scholarship, promote quality research, and support dental hygiene through public and private education. For all non-merit-based awards (i.e., those without the word "merit" in the name of the award), the student must have a financial need of $1,500 or more and must electronically sign the application attesting to such need. Scholarships are awarded based on how well the applicant demonstrates the goal or achievement of the scholarship for which he/she applies.

Award Amount: $1,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $2,000.
