The number of awards offered varies annually. Last year, 14 awards were given.
Scholarships will be awarded by the Actuarial Education and Research Fund (AERF) Committee of The Actuarial Foundation based upon the information provided, particularly the recommendation letter and essay. Preference will be given to candidates who have demonstrated leadership potential through extracurricular activities. Immediate relatives of members of the Board of Trustees of The Actuarial Foundation, committee members, or boards of affiliated organizations are not eligible to apply. Scholarship winners will be notified by July 1.
