DAR Centennial Scholarship is awarded to outstanding students pursuing a course of graduate study in the field of historic preservation. This is a one time award in the amount of $2,000. A student is only eligible for one scholarship from the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR). Awards are based on academic excellence, commitment to field of study, and/or financial need, or other restrictions on specific scholarships. No affiliation with DAR is necessary unless specified. Scholarships are awarded regardless of race, religion, sex or national origin. Only winners are notified by the National DAR Scholarship Chairman following the approval of a ruling by the executive committee of the NSDAR.
