Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a high school senior at the time of application.
  3. Must live within Lancaster County, Nebraska.
  4. Must graduate from a public high school in Lincoln, Nebraska.
  5. Must major in art, art history or museumology.
  6. Must be a U.S. citizen.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: The Jane T. Anderson Scholarship is available for a graduating senior from a public high school in Lincoln, Nebraska. Students must major in art, art history or museumology and demonstrate academic performance, artistic talent and intention to continue their education.

Application requirements for the Jane T. Anderson Scholarship are:

  • Transcript
  • Recommendation letter
Additional Information: The Lincoln Community Foundation will make the final selection of scholarship recipients, and this scholarship shall not be awarded to any immediate or distant member of the Jane T. Anderson Family.

Award Amount: $600 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $600.

Applications and information are available online at the Lincoln Community Foundation website. In addition to the completed online application, students must submit: a letter of recommendation from a high school art teacher; a copy of all high school transcripts. All applications and supporting materials must be submitted online by the deadline date.
