Number of Awards & Eligibility: The number of awards offered varies annually and is dependent on funding.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must enroll as a full-time student.
  3. Must major in music.
  4. Must plan to attend Maryville College in Tennessee.
  5. Must be a graduating high school senior or undergraduate transfer student.
  6. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  7. Must attend college or university in Tennessee.

Description: This award is available for U.S. undergraduate students who plan to attend Maryville College in Tennessee. Students must major in music.

Application requirements for the Maryville College Music Scholarship are:

  • Application form
  • Admissions app.
  • Audition/portfolio
  • Recommendation letter
Additional Information: The Music Scholarship is made with consideration to the following criteria: The quality of the audition performance; The student’s record of experience and success in his/her field; The potential for the applicant to contribute to the quality of the music department; and Letter(s) of recommendation. Recipients are required to participate in related music ensemble.

Award Amount: Up to full tuition annually (valued at approximately $48,296).  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $48,296.

Scholarship applications are available online from the Maryville College website. In addition to the completed application, the student must submit one or more letters of recommendation.
