Scholarship awards range from $2,500 to $12,000 annually, non-renewable. Scholarship applicants and winners can and are encouraged to re-apply in subsequent years. Each scholarship award can only cover tuition and university-provided room and board. Scholarship monies not used during one academic year are not transferable to the following academic year. To be eligible to receive payment, a NIAF scholar must: submit a written acceptance of the scholarship award; submit letter(s) of appreciation to NIAF-designated scholarship financial contributor(s); submit a color photograph for publication; and sign a written statement pledging that upon completion of the academic year, he/she will submit a typed narrative of approximately 500 words for publication. The narrative must briefly describe the benefits of the NIAF Scholarship.
Two awards offered varies annually.
