  2. This award is for international and U.S. students.
  3. Must be studying the field of nuclear and plasma sciences.

  • Evidence of contribution to the field
Additional Information: The Nuclear and Plasma Sciences Society Graduate Scholarship Award recognizes contributions to the fields of Nuclear and Plasma Sciences. Scholarships will be awarded based on evidence of achievement such as academic record, reports, presentations, publications, research plans, related projects and related work experience. Participation in IEEE activities through presentations, publications, as well as student Branch involvement will also be considere

Award Amount: $1,500 annually, non-renewable. Recipients will also receive a certificate, and one-year complimentary membership in the Nuclear and Plasma Sciences Society (NPSS).  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,500.

To be considered for the award, students must be nominated and nomination forms must include the requested information concerning the student's academic record, publishing history, and participation in professional societies & activities.
