$1,000 annually, non-renewable. Checks will be mailed to each recipient's home address and made payable jointly to the recipient and the college and must be endorsed by both.
Two awards offered annually.
Semi-finalists are selected by University Aviation Association (UAA) on the basis of academic record, recommendation letter and statement of educational and career goals. Using this information, together with information provided by UAA, the National Air Transportation Federation (NATF) will announce the scholarship awards each year during NATA's annual spring convention. Scholarship recipients may be offered internship opportunities. The recipient has no obligation to the NATF, but is required to supply UAA with current transcripts and to notify UAA of any changes of address, school enrollment or other relevant information. Except as described in this brochure, no other obligation is required by the NATF or the NATA.
