This scholarship honors the memory of Richard D. Stehly, a past president of the American Concrete Institute, whose long-term commitment to concrete construction achieved great progress for the field. The awards will be made on the basis of demonstrated interest and ability to work in the field of concrete construction. Completed and pending course work will be considered. Academic excellence will cause a candidate to be considered over another when other factors are equal.
