Under Mr. Cook's leadership, the Illinois Association of REALTORS grew from 2,200 members and a $20,000 annual budget to more than 23,000 members and a $3 million budget. In addition, Mr. Cook was instrumental in the founding of the Realtors Political Action Committee of Illinois and the Realtors Institute of Illinois, and was a guiding force in the development of a myriad of other association services, including professional liability insurance.
